The energy you experience daily comes from your own front door, so use your flat or unit number (for 304 in Tower B, use 304; some practitioners also look at “B304” as a secondary reading). For an independent house, use the number on the gate or main door. If the official address and the number on your door differ, the commonly used one carries more weight.
Matching the house number with your mulank
A house number that is the same as, or friendly to, the main earning member’s mulank or bhagyank is considered supportive. Example: a family head with mulank 1 is comfortable in houses that add up to 1, 2, 3 or 9; houses adding to 6 or 8 are considered less supportive for number 1.
